Ignite travels to churches and events in the southeast to lead worship and lift up the name of Jesus while recruiting for the Department of Worship Leadership. A strong emphasis is placed on biblical foundation and provides students the opportunity to lead worship in both traditional and contemporary settings. CAMP PASTOR Daniel Atkins Dr. Daniel Atkins grew up a pastor’s son in Alabama and began serving Alabama Baptist churches at the age of 16. He has also served in churches in North Carolina and South Carolina. He is a graduate of Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, Wake Forest, North Carolina with a Masters of Divinity, and received his Doctor of Ministry in Biblical Preaching from Anderson University in 2020. In 2016, Dr. Atkins became the pastor of Taylor Road Baptist Church in Montgomery and has served in leadership positions in Alabama Baptist and Southern Baptist life. Daniel is married to Kristy and they have three children. When like-minded Christian brothers and sisters come together to learn, study, and grow in their faith, the Lord is sure to move!
